How Our Lessons Work

The A’o’K lesson structure for Grade 6 and 7 is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and practical, supporting learners’ emotional and personal growth. The programme consists of 9 short lessons, each 20–25 minutes long, making it easy to fit into the school timetable. Through a combination of a learner booklet, teacher’s guide, and video content, learners are guided to understand self-love, how the brain works, values discovery, the window of tolerance, and essential soft skills such as communication, empathy, and self-awareness. Each lesson includes intentional stopping moments where learners reflect, discuss, and actively participate, helping them connect the content to their own lives. Learners also learn practical strategies to manage their emotions in healthy ways. The programme concludes with a fun, interactive review game that reinforces key concepts and checks learners’ understanding of emotions, personality, and love.
