How Our Lessons Work
The A’o’K lesson structure for Grade 8 and 9 consists of 8–9 focused, age-appropriate lessons designed to support learners in understanding themselves and navigating everyday life challenges. Each 20–25 minute lesson explores a key theme such as identity, personality, values, emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, decision-making, and forgiveness. Lessons are presented through engaging videos supported by a learner booklet and a clear teacher’s guide, ensuring consistency and ease of facilitation. Throughout each lesson, planned “stopping moments” encourage reflection, discussion, and active participation, allowing learners to connect the content to their own experiences. The programme concludes with a fun, interactive review game that reinforces learning and assesses learners’ understanding of emotions, self-awareness, and healthy relational choices.
