Leadership Seminar

Guiding young leaders with confidence and emotional intelligence

A’o’K’s Grade 6 Leadership Seminar is an engaging program designed to guide young learners through the exciting world of leadership in two 45-minute sessions. In this seminar, students explore how to recognize if they have the potential to be a leader and learn about the essential qualities of a good leader, such as responsibility, empathy, and integrity. They discuss the challenges leaders face, from making tough decisions to handling peer pressure, as well as the personality traits that shape effective leaders. The sessions also introduce emotional intelligence, helping learners understand how leaders manage their own emotions and respond to others. Students reflect on their strengths and weaknesses, preparing them to grow into confident leaders. And, of course, the seminar doesn’t shy away from the gossip and excitement that often comes before leaders are appointed, showing learners how to handle rumours and stay focused on their goals.
